Wallace- Mrs. Agnes Gaynell Gray, 66-year-old life-time resident of Montgomery and Fountain counties, died at 1:10 p.m. Sunday in Methodist Hospital at Indianapolis. She had been seriously ill since Jan. 18. She was first taken to Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville, then to Methodist Hospital. Born Sept. 28, 1896, in Montgomery County, she was the daughter of John and Bessie Smith Weir. She was graduated from Alamo High School in 1913. She married Homer V. Gray Dec. 11, 1918 at Crawfordsville. He died in 1946. Mrs. Gray was a member of Alamo OES, Chapter 498, of which she was a past matron, and Cabalastic Club of Wallace. Surviving are two sons, Leslie Weir of Rt. 3, Crawfordsville and Raymond Gray of Rt. 1, Waynetown; a brother, Granville Weir of Rt. 3, Crawfordsville; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are announced for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown, Rev. Morris Finch and Rev. John Servies will officiate. Interment will be in Lutheran Cemetery here. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Monday. Alamo OES will conduct memorial services at 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. - kbz

Wallace - Funeral rites for Mrs. Agnes Gray were held Tuesday at Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown with Rev. Morris Finch officiating, assisted by Rev. John Servies. Organ selections were played by Mrs. Mary Mullen. Pallbearers who assisted with the flowers were Leonard Smith, Lyle Smith, Ralph Myers, Lawrence Weir, Ralph Moore and Harry Luzader. Burial was in the Wallace Lutheran Cemetery. - kbz
